The India-Australia final match of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup broke records with a peak viewership of 5.9 crore on Disney+Hotstar, surpassing its previous peak concurrency record. The platform also recorded high viewership numbers during other matches of the tournament. The match was also screened by PVR INOX in over 150 cinemas across various cities, with over 70,000 cricket fans in attendance.
